Michael Schrodi

Michael Schrodi is a German politician and teacher who has served as a member of the Bundestag representing Bavaria since 2017. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) and its left-wing Parliamentary Left faction, he has focused extensively on financial policy, serving as a rapporteur on excise taxes and as his party's spokesperson for financial policies. In 2025, he was appointed as a Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Finance. Throughout his career, he has participated in significant coalition negotiations, including those for the traffic light coalition and the subsequent Grand Coalition.
