Michael J. Soter is an American politician serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 8th Worcester District. First elected in 2018, he represents the towns of Blackstone, Millville, Uxbridge, and Bellingham. In the legislature, he serves as the Ranking Minority member on the Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities and holds assignments on committees concerning economic development, municipal government, and public health. Prior to his state-level service, Soter served for seven years on the Bellingham Board of Selectmen.
