Michel Masset

Michel Masset is a French politician currently serving as a Senator for the Lot-et-Garonne department, a position he has held since 2023. Before entering national politics, he served as the mayor of Damazan and as a departmental councilor for the canton of Lavardac, where he also acted as vice-president in charge of tourism and economic development. A former mason and warehouse worker who transitioned into the real estate sector, Masset identifies with the radical-socialist political tradition and sits with the Democratic and European Social and Rally group in the Senate.
