Michelle Davis is an American politician serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives for the 58th district, having assumed office on November 4, 2020. A native of Bargersville, Indiana, she holds a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Ball State University and a Master of Education in curriculum and instruction from Purdue University. Prior to her legislative career, she worked at the Central Nine Career Center in Greenwood. In the legislature, Davis has focused on education policy, notably authoring House Bill 1041 in 2021, which sought to restrict transgender girls and women from participating in female-designated sports teams.
