田中 美絵子

Mieko Tanaka is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Ishikawa Prefectural Assembly. Born in Kanazawa, she previously served one term in the House of Representatives (2009–2012) as a member of the Democratic Party of Japan, followed by a term as a member of the Kanazawa City Council. She holds a Master's degree in Political Science from Meiji University and has worked as a tour conductor and legislative secretary. Her political platform focuses on disaster prevention, welfare improvements from a female perspective, local employment policies, and animal welfare.
