下沢 佳充

Yoshitaka Shimozawa is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the Ishikawa Prefectural Assembly, representing the Kanazawa constituency. Born in 1961 in Kanazawa, he graduated from Waseda University's School of Commerce. Before his election to the prefectural assembly in 1995, he served for 12 years as a public secretary to former Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori. Throughout his career, he has held key positions including Speaker of the Ishikawa Prefectural Assembly and Secretary-General of the LDP Ishikawa Prefectural Federation. He is currently serving his eighth term and advocates for reflecting the voices of the silent majority in political decision-making.
