Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez is a Mexican politician currently serving as a Senator of the Republic for the state of Veracruz. Born in Xalapa, he previously served as the municipal president of Boca del Río for two terms and as a local deputy in the Congress of Veracruz. Formerly a member of the National Action Party (PAN), he was expelled in 2024 following his decisive vote in favor of the judicial reform proposed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. In February 2025, he was appointed president of the Finance Committee in the Senate.
