Mike Dunleavy

Mike Dunleavy is an American politician and educator serving as the 12th Governor of Alaska since 2018. Before his election as governor, he served in the Alaska Senate from 2013 to 2018. His career includes extensive work in education as a teacher, principal, and superintendent in rural Alaska, as well as experience in the private sector as an educational consultant. As governor, Dunleavy has focused on workforce development, infrastructure relief following natural disasters, and energy policy, including the advancement of the Alaska LNG project.
