Mike Jacobson is an American politician, businessman, and banker currently serving as a member of the Nebraska Legislature representing the 42nd district. Appointed by Governor Pete Ricketts in February 2022, Jacobson brought extensive experience in agricultural finance and community leadership to the legislature. Prior to his political career, he worked as a teacher and farmer, held positions as an agricultural lending officer and senior vice president at various banks, and founded NebraskaLand Bank in 1998. He has also served as chair for the North Platte Redevelopment Authority and the North Platte Airport Authority.
