Mike King is an American politician and businessman currently serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives for the 74th district, having assumed office in 2025. Prior to his legislative career, he served as the Kansas Secretary of Transportation from 2012 to 2016 under Governor Sam Brownback, where he also directed the Kansas Turnpike Authority. Before entering public service, King owned and operated the King Enterprise Group, a construction company, for over two decades. He holds a degree in building construction from John Brown University.
