Mike Martin

Dr. Mike Martin is a British politician, author, and former Army officer who has served as the Member of Parliament for Tunbridge Wells since 2024. A member of the Liberal Democrats, he is the first non-Conservative to represent the constituency since its inception. Martin holds a PhD in war studies from King's College London and previously served in the British Army, including tours in Afghanistan where he worked as a political officer. His political platform emphasizes national security, defense capabilities, and local infrastructure improvements. He is a vocal critic of the Russian regime and has actively campaigned on issues such as the seizure of frozen Russian assets to support Ukraine.
