Mike McKell is an American lawyer and politician serving as a member of the Utah State Senate for the 25th district. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Utah House of Representatives from 2013 to 2021. In November 2024, he was elected as the Majority Assistant Whip. McKell is a founding partner of the Utah Legal Team and has been recognized for his legal work in the state. He gained national attention in 2023 for sponsoring legislation that restricted social media access for minors in Utah, making it the first state in the U.S. to implement such measures.
