Milutin Simović

Milutin Simović is a Montenegrin politician and a long-standing member of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS). He has held numerous high-level government positions, including serving as the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development across several terms between 1997 and 2020, and as Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro from 2016 to 2020. During the 2020 COVID-19 health crisis, he led the national coronavirus control body. Additionally, he served as the Mayor of Nikšić from November 2020 until 2021 and as a Vice-President of the Parliament of Montenegro from 2012 to 2016. He holds a master's degree in agriculture from the University of Novi Sad.
