Miodrag Lekić

Miodrag Lekić is a Montenegrin politician, diplomat, and academic who currently serves as a Member of Parliament. Born in Bar in 1947, he holds a degree in political science from the University of Belgrade and has had a distinguished career in international relations. He previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro from 1992 to 1995 and held several ambassadorial roles for Yugoslavia, including in Italy, Malta, and Mozambique. A former leader of the Democratic Front, he founded the liberal-conservative party DEMOS in 2015. Lekić is also a prolific author and has lectured on diplomacy and international politics at various institutions, including the Sapienza University of Rome and LUISS Guido Carli.
