木原稔

Minoru Kihara is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Chief Cabinet Secretary. A member of the Liberal Democratic Party, he has been elected to the House of Representatives seven times representing the Kumamoto 1st district. Throughout his career, Kihara has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Defense and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister for national security policy. He is known for his conservative political stances, including support for constitutional reform, the strengthening of Japan's defense capabilities, and opposition to selective married-couple surnames. Before entering politics, he worked at Japan Airlines.
