Mircea Abrudean

Mircea Abrudean is a Romanian politician currently serving as the President of the Senate of Romania since June 2025. A member of the National Liberal Party, he previously held the position of Prefect of Cluj County from 2019 to 2021 and served as the Deputy Secretary General of the Government. Abrudean holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from Babeș-Bolyai University and a master's degree in project management from the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration. Before his political career, he worked as a history teacher.
