Miriam Scherff

Miriam Scherff is a German politician who has served as the Mayor of Wuppertal since November 2025. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), she previously served as the district mayor of Cronenberg and became the chair of the SPD Wuppertal in 2024. Her professional background includes training in insurance and finance, as well as a degree in Insurance Management from the Technical University of Cologne.
