Missy McGee

Missy Warren McGee is an American politician serving as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for the 102nd district since 2017. A moderate Republican, she previously worked as a legislative assistant for Congressman Trent Lott and as a speech communication instructor at the University of Southern Mississippi. During her tenure, she has chaired the House Medicaid Committee and has been noted for her independent voting record, including being the only Republican to vote against a 2019 heartbeat abortion bill and supporting the 2020 legislation to change the Mississippi state flag.
