Mohamed Abdel Latif

Mohamed Abdel Latif is an Egyptian educational administrator and politician who has served as the Minister of Education and Technical Education of Egypt since July 2024. Born in Cairo in 1972, he is the grandson of Field Marshal Ahmad Ismail Ali and has built a career focused on school management and institutional development. Before his ministerial appointment, he held senior leadership roles in the private education sector, notably managing the Nermien Ismail Schools network. Since taking office, he has prioritized educational reform, including efforts to reduce classroom overcrowding, improve teacher distribution, and modernize the national curriculum through digital integration and quality assurance initiatives.
