Mohan Bahadur Basnet

Mohan Bahadur Basnet is a Nepalese politician and a member of the Nepali Congress. He has served as a member of the Pratinidhi Sabha and the 2nd Constituent Assembly representing the Sindhupalchok-1 constituency. Throughout his career, he has held various ministerial positions, including Minister for Information and Communication from 2017 to 2018 and State Minister of Health from 2001 to 2002. In May 2025, he was named in a corruption case regarding the Teramox telecom monitoring system, which led to his automatic suspension from Parliament.
