Yosuke Mori is a Japanese politician and former environmental bureaucrat currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Democratic Party for the People. Born in Osaka in 1994, he holds a master's degree in public economics from Hitotsubashi University. Before entering politics, he worked at the Ministry of the Environment, focusing on climate change policy and carbon pricing, and later served as a management consultant and business executive. First elected to the Diet in 2024, he has since taken on leadership roles within his party, including serving as the head of the Tokyo Prefectural Federation. Mori advocates for constitutional reform, including the formal recognition of the Self-Defense Forces, and supports policies such as same-sex marriage and the strengthening of international cooperation in diplomacy.
