松嶋盛人

Morito Matsushima is a Japanese politician and former educator currently serving as the Mayor of Miyama, Fukuoka Prefecture. Born in 1953, he worked for Nippon Ham before pursuing a long career in education, eventually serving as a middle school principal. He was first elected mayor in 2018 and secured a second term in 2022. During his tenure, he faced controversy for distributing documents containing discriminatory views on heredity and for a violation of the Public Offices Election Act regarding the distribution of books, for which he was referred to prosecutors.
