見坂茂範

Shigenori Kenzaka is a Japanese politician and former career official at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Born in Hyogo Prefecture, he graduated from Kyoto University with a focus on civil engineering and seismic engineering. During his long tenure as a government official, he specialized in road policy, infrastructure development, and disaster prevention, notably serving as the Director of the Kinki Regional Development Bureau. Elected to the House of Councillors in 2025 as a representative of the construction industry, he advocates for national resilience, infrastructure investment to stimulate economic growth, and the improvement of working conditions within the construction sector.
