Moritz Promny is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Hesse, representing the Free Democratic Party (FDP). Since entering the state parliament in 2019, he has served as the education policy spokesperson for the FDP parliamentary group and is a member of the social and integration policy committee as well as the cultural policy committee. Beyond his state-level duties, Promny has held various local mandates in Michelstadt and the Odenwald district since 2006 and 2011, respectively. A lawyer by profession, he previously served as the General Secretary of the FDP in Hesse from 2019 to 2025 and has been a member of the FDP federal board since 2021.
