A specialist in African oral literature and culture, he previously held various administrative roles at the University Joseph Ki-Zerbo and served as the Director General of Customary Affairs and Traditions. Recognized for his commitment to social cohesion and peace-building, he was appointed to the government in January 2026 to oversee the national education system.
