
Serge Gnaniodem Poda
Profile
Serge Gnaniodem Poda is a Burkinabè economist and politician serving as the Minister of Industrial Development, Trade, Handicrafts and Small and Medium Enterprises of Burkina Faso since November 2022. Prior to his ministerial appointment, he worked as a senior executive at the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) starting in 2005. He holds a postgraduate degree in macroeconomics from Joseph Ki-Zerbo University. In his current role, he focuses on promoting local production, regulating trade, and supporting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises under the administration of President Ibrahim Traoré.
