Moustapha Mamba Guirassy is a Senegalese politician and educator currently serving as the Minister of National Education under President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. Born in Dakar in 1965, he holds an engineering degree from the University of Quebec at Chicoutimi and an MBA from Laval University. Before his political career, he was a pioneer in private higher education in Senegal, founding the African Institute of Management (IAM). Guirassy previously served as the Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and ICT, and as the Mayor of Kédougou from 2009 to 2014.
