Muhammad Yaseen is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the district of Calgary-North. First elected in 2019, he has held various government roles, including Parliamentary Secretary for Community Outreach and Associate Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism. Before entering politics, Yaseen spent 40 years as a professional engineer in the oil industry, primarily with Imperial Oil. He holds degrees in petroleum and civil engineering, as well as an MBA, and is a long-time community volunteer in Calgary.
