Muhittin Böcek is a Turkish politician who has served as the Mayor of Antalya since April 2019. Prior to his current role, he held the position of Mayor of Konyaaltı, a district of Antalya, for two decades from 1999 to 2019. A member of the Republican People's Party, he gained national attention during the COVID-19 pandemic after a prolonged hospitalization in 2020. In July 2025, he was arrested by authorities on suspicion of bribery as part of a broader crackdown on opposition figures in southern Turkey.
