Nuri Aslan

Nuri Aslan is a Turkish politician and businessman currently serving as the acting Mayor of Istanbul since 2025. A member of the Republican People's Party (CHP), he assumed the role following the suspension of Ekrem İmamoğlu. Aslan holds a degree in Naval Machinery Engineering from Yıldız Technical University and previously worked in the private sector as a general manager. His political career includes serving as a municipal council member for Küçükçekmece and Beylikdüzü, as well as holding leadership positions in various civil society organizations. He is committed to maintaining municipal governance and continuing the policy initiatives established by his predecessor.
