Mustafa Canbey

Mustafa Canbey is a Turkish journalist and politician currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey representing Balıkesir. Born in 1975 in Balıkesir, he completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in his hometown before graduating from the Department of Journalism at Marmara University. Prior to his parliamentary career, he worked as a lecturer at Istanbul University between 2016 and 2018. Canbey was first elected to parliament in 2018 and subsequently served as the Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party's Headquarters for Promotion and Media from 2018 to 2021. He was re-elected to the Grand National Assembly in the 2023 general elections.
