Mykola Babenko is a Ukrainian lawyer, advocate, and politician currently serving as a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation. Born in Kryvyi Rih, he graduated from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Before his parliamentary career, he served as a deputy and later as the Chairman of the Kyiv Regional Council from 2014 to 2015. Elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019, he acts as the secretary of the Committee on Social Policy and Veterans' Rights and chairs the subcommittee on labor relations and employment.
