中谷めぐ

Megu Nakaya is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the South Kanto proportional representation block. Born in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, she previously operated a private salon specializing in nail care and kimono dressing. Her political career began after she became involved with the Sanseito party, motivated by concerns regarding modern medical practices and their intersection with political interests. After unsuccessful bids in the 2024 general election and the 2025 House of Councillors election, she was elected to the House of Representatives in February 2026. She is commonly known by the name Megu Nakaya, which she also uses in her parliamentary activities.
