Naohiko Nishiuchi is a Japanese politician and businessman currently serving as the Mayor of Aki City in Kochi Prefecture. Born in Aki, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Sophia University. Before entering politics, he worked for Fujitsu Financial Systems and IBM Japan, and later became the president of Hagumi Farm, where he engaged in smart agriculture. Nishiuchi was elected to the Aki City Council in 2022 and subsequently won the mayoral election unopposed in August 2025, assuming office in September 2025 with a focus on sustainable and vibrant city development.
