Naoki Sakuramoto is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Yasu City in Shiga Prefecture. A graduate of Ritsumeikan University, he previously worked as a Shiga prefectural government official, holding various administrative roles including positions in the finance and policy departments. He was elected mayor in October 2024 after campaigning on a platform that included the revitalization of the Yasu station area, the optimization of hospital project plans to reduce the burden on citizens, and the repurposing of the Sazanami Hall into a community facility.
