Nat Cook is an Australian politician and anti-violence campaigner currently serving as the Speaker of the South Australian House of Assembly. Before entering politics, she worked for nearly 30 years as a registered nurse. Following the tragic death of her son in 2008, she co-founded the Sammy D Foundation to promote anti-violence initiatives. First elected to the South Australian Parliament in 2014, she has held various ministerial roles, including Minister for Human Services and Minister for Seniors and Ageing Well, before assuming the role of Speaker in 2026.
