Nathanaël Middelkoop

Nathanaël Middelkoop is a Dutch politician who has served as the Mayor of Katwijk since November 20, 2025. Upon his appointment, he became the youngest mayor in the Netherlands. Previously, he served as a municipal councilor and later as an alderman in Urk, where he managed portfolios including economics, fisheries, and spatial development. Middelkoop holds degrees in law and political science from the University of Groningen, Leiden University, and Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is a member of the Reformed Political Party (SGP).
