Nawaf Salam is a Lebanese politician, diplomat, and jurist currently serving as the 53rd Prime Minister of Lebanon since February 2025. Before his premiership, he had a distinguished international career, serving as a judge and later President of the International Court of Justice, as well as Lebanon's Ambassador to the United Nations. A scholar of political science and law, Salam advocates for the full implementation of the Taif Agreement, judicial independence, and the restoration of state authority over weapons and security matters to ensure national stability.
