Nayana Motamma

Nayana Motamma is an Indian politician and a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, representing the Mudigere constituency since 2023. A member of the Indian National Congress, she transitioned into politics from a successful career as a corporate lawyer and entrepreneur. Motamma holds a law degree from the National Law School of India University and an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania. She has spoken publicly about the importance of her Dalit identity in her political work, aiming to represent her community and continue a legacy of public service.
