Naz Shah

Naz Shah is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Bradford West since 2015. Before entering national politics, she worked as a carer for disabled people, an NHS Commissioner, and a director for a regional association supporting local councils, as well as chairing the mental health charity Sharing Voices Bradford. During her parliamentary career, she has served on the Opposition frontbench, including as Shadow Minister for Crime Reduction. Shah has been a vocal campaigner on issues such as grooming gangs and has faced significant public scrutiny regarding past social media posts, for which she has issued apologies. She continues to represent her constituency, focusing on local and national policy issues.
