Neil Lumsden

Neil Lumsden is a Canadian politician and former professional football player currently serving as the Minister of Sport for Ontario. Elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 2022 to represent Hamilton East—Stoney Creek, he previously enjoyed a distinguished career in the Canadian Football League, winning three Grey Cup championships as a player and one as a general manager. Inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2014, Lumsden transitioned into sports marketing and administration before entering provincial politics.
