Nguyễn Thị Sửu is a Vietnamese politician and linguist of Ta Oi ethnicity, currently serving as a Deputy to the National Assembly of Vietnam for the 15th tenure and Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Thua Thien Hue Province. Born in A Luoi District, she holds a doctorate in linguistics and was the first person of Ta Oi descent to achieve this academic rank. Throughout her career, she has held various leadership roles, including Secretary of the A Luoi District Party Committee and Head of the Ethnic Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province. She is a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam and has contributed significantly to the study of Ta Oi language and culture through her research and publications.
