Nick Herbert, Baron Herbert of South Downs, is a British Conservative politician and member of the House of Lords. He previously served as the Member of Parliament for Arundel and South Downs from 2005 to 2019, during which time he held government roles including Minister of State for Police and Criminal Justice. A former director of the think tank Reform, Herbert has been a prominent advocate for government reform, LGBT rights, and global tuberculosis eradication. He currently serves as the Chair of the College of Policing and as the UK's Special Envoy on LGBT Rights.
