Nicholas Ian Macpherson, Baron Macpherson of Earl's Court, is a British peer and former senior civil servant who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2016. He previously held a distinguished career in HM Treasury, serving as Permanent Secretary from 2005 to 2016, where he managed the department through the 2007 financial crisis and advised on the 2014 Scottish independence referendum.
