Nick McBride

Nick McBride is an Australian former politician who served as the member for MacKillop in the South Australian House of Assembly from 2018 until his defeat at the 2026 state election. Originally a member of the Liberal Party, he resigned in July 2023 to sit as an independent, citing concerns over factionalism and the party's shift toward right-wing positions. Outside of his political career, McBride is a grazier and previously served as president of the Grassland Society of South Australia.
