Nick McGowan is an Australian politician serving as a member of the Victorian Legislative Council for the North-Eastern Metropolitan Region since 2022. Before his election, he had an extensive career in humanitarian work with the United Nations in regions including Afghanistan and Liberia, and served as a member of the Migration Review Tribunal. He also held roles as a political adviser and chief of staff to Matthew Guy. Currently, he serves as the Shadow Minister for Community Services and Shadow Minister for Victim Support.
