Nico Rios

Nico Rios is an American politician serving as a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives for the 23rd district since 2022. Born in Chicago and later relocating to North Dakota to work in the oil industry, he previously served in the Washington, D.C. office of Senator Ted Cruz. Rios has faced significant controversy, including a 2023 DUI arrest involving abusive conduct toward law enforcement and a 2025 incident involving antisemitic social media posts, both of which led to calls for his resignation from party leadership.
