Born on March 17, 1981, he is the son of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane. Rane previously served as a member of the 15th Lok Sabha, representing the Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg constituency as a member of the Indian National Congress. Throughout his political career, he has been associated with several parties, including the Bharatiya Janata Party, before joining Shiv Sena in 2024 to successfully contest the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections.
