Nisha Mehta is a Nepalese politician, nurse, and government minister serving as the Minister of Health and Food Hygiene under the Balen Shah Cabinet. Born in Inaruwa, Sunsari district, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Post Graduate College of Nursing in Gwalior, India. Before entering parliament, she worked professionally as a clinical nurse and associate professor in healthcare institutions. She has been a general member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party since its formation and was elected to the Pratinidhi Sabha during the 2026 general election.
