Noah Arbit is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives since 2023, representing the 20th district. A member of the Democratic Party, he is the youngest openly gay person ever elected to the Michigan Legislature. Before his election, he worked as a staffer for Gretchen Whitmer’s 2018 gubernatorial campaign and served as the Director of Communications for the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office. Arbit is a vocal advocate for strengthening hate crime laws and combating antisemitism, having founded the Michigan Democratic Jewish Caucus.
